Outpatient Therapy
Outpatient
services include both individual, marital, and family counseling and group
therapy. These services are provided through scheduled appointments with a
staff of behavioral health professionals.
Community
Psychiatric Supportive Treatment
The
Maumee
Valley
Guidance
Center
offers case management services to adults and youth with severe behavioral
issues or mental disabilities. Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment
(CPST) providers assist individuals
with various needs so that they may remain independently functioning in the
community. Treatment planning, coordinating services, advocating for client’s
goals, and assisting clients in successful community living are just a few of
the services of case management. These services are available 24
hours a day.
Psychiatric and Medication Management
Psychiatric
services include psychiatric assessment and diagnosis; psychiatric medication
evaluation and management, consultation, and treatment. Psychiatry service not
only provides services to adults but also to the special needs of young
children.
Clubhouse Program
The
Maumee
Valley
Guidance
Center
offers a clubhouse program designed to support the client’s desires and goals to
remain in their natural community environment. The program provides a
supportive environment offering daily living skills
development, recreation and leisure activity in an environment of staff and
client.
